A message from our president

A message from our president

Hi everyone my name is Sophie Kuzakov, and I’m the President of the Berwick-Pakenham Historical Society. As a full-time mum, Youth Worker, and history enthusiast, I’m deeply committed to the preservation and promotion of our region’s rich history.

As President of the Berwick-Pakenham Historical Society, I’m filled with hope and excitement for the future of our organization. Our mission to preserve and promote our region’s rich history is not just a task, but a passion shared by our entire community. I’m continually inspired by the stories and knowledge exchanged between our members—whether they’re young, old, or somewhere in between.

Every day, I learn something new from our local history, and I’m eager to welcome new members who wish to embark on this journey with us. Our society is a place where history comes alive, and everyone’s contribution is valued.

Whether you’re stopping by the museum for a quick cuppa or ready to dive into your own historic journey, I encourage you to come and say hello. Together, we can continue to make a lasting impact on our community by preserving the stories that make our area unique.
